Pulitzer Prize winner, Gary Webb can not be silenced

I just watched a film called Kill the Messenger, starring Jeremy Renner. I recommend this film, borrow it from the library, or stream it on Netflix. It’s well-done, great acting and it seems to stay true to the real story. The truth cannot be buried forever, I think we the public are beginning to connect the dots, well I’m seeing the connection and I’m just an average person, I’m not an investigative reporter or a detective, but I think the truth is allowing discovery of itself. Iran Contra, drug smuggling, Arkanicide, Mena… all roads are leading in the same direction towards truth.

Admirable of Jeremy Renner to produce this film, applause for the entire cast too. It’s amazing that this film is based on a true story. Truth is stranger than fiction.

I recommend watching this film first, then watching the documentary clips.
Thank you, Gary Webb. Your work is meaningful and brave.

      1. I didn’t realize that it was Lord Byron who first said it, “‘Tis strange but true; for truth is always strange; Stranger than fiction’”. Then Mark Twain’s phrase, “The truth is stranger than fiction, but it is because Fiction is obliged to stick to possibilities; Truth isn’t.” 🤓and now Calamity Jane too! Great minds think alike.

      2. Yes Judy, Lord Byron and I have so
much in common. I love to holiday
at Byron Bay, on the Australian
tropical east coast. But sadly, I’ve
never ran into Lord Byron whilst staying there. Strange but true 😎

  1. Will definitely check this out. There is a lot going on behind the scenes and before I very eyes that you would think the truth is too obvious to be true. Thank you for the recommendation!

    1. You’re welcome, Sylvester. I was writing while watching the film 😊, so I need to re-watch it too, it has an ensemble cast. Jeremy Renner impresses me in this film, and others. I hope you enjoy it.
